The Eternity (Poem)

Echoes of things long lost
frozen in time
an ember - everburning, calming
calling for desperation.

I knew;
and so did you.

Words like thousand cuts
that pierce
right through the eternity; right through your very being.

It comforts me - I smile
and I laugh
and I weep
so dearly.

An emotionless emotion;
woven by the death's threads.

So gentle, so comforting
this wicked scenery
forsaken and enshrouded
in desolation.

I knew;
the eternity
that is us
- did you?
